July 4th

I really want to start using this blog again. Only I never know if I want to use it specifically for photography or if I want to use it for every day thing. Oh well, here are some snapshots from Instagram of my 4th :)

The Smallest Adventures

This past weekend a couple friends and I explored a nearby creek. So simple, yet so much fun. The light was amazing from start to finish and everything seemed one hundred times more beautiful then than any other day. My friends are beautiful so of course I snapped some photos of them. I'm sure there will be more to come. Description of Photo Description of Photo Description of Photo Description of Photo Description of Photo

Went to the park today and met one of Karen's friends, Kristen. She had her little girl Bella with her who is super adorable. She kept yelling, "Are you kidding me? This is the best day EVER!" Haha, awesome right? Here's a few shots of her and one of Calen too!

Morning

I love my days off from work for obvious reasons, but one odd one is that I get to have regular coffee. Usually I'm too busy to make coffee before work and I can't drink it on the way so I often skip out. But days like this, when I can leisurely brew up a pot and lay in bed editing photos while I sip are what I love.

I've recently began to realize how introverted I am. I always thought I was just very shy, but in reality I just like to be alone a lot with my own thoughts and I really don't like to talk to people just for the sake of talking. My brother would always tell me that I'm too quiet, but its just that I don't have anything of substance to say at the time. If someone was to ask me about photography though, I wouldn't shut up. And that's another reason why I know I need to pursue this. I just love it so much. Description of PhotoDescription of Photo

Prelude

A few more random photos from Saturday. There was more, but I just didn't want to post everything. Hope you enjoy these ones. This was before we left on our trip to Pickwick. The little boy is Chris and Karen's little boy Calen and he is the cutest ever. He obviously likes to skate like his dad and he makes that "huh?" face at me quite often, haha. Pickwick

So wow. I had a day off yesterday and was feeling a little adventurous. Me and Danza decided to hit up Karen and Chris to see if they wanted to go take photos or just do somethin. We decided on heading up the trace and ended up at Pickwick Lake. Justin decided to tag along too!
The lake was breathtaking. It was really foggy out and the sun was setting. It really was so beautiful. Even the boys were in awe. These pictures don't do it justice, but they try.
It started to get dark out, but we kept trekking on and I kept snapping photos of course, pushing the limits of my camera in the rain (gasp!). I got these shots of the boys by the water. You couldn't see any further out because of the fog. It sort of made you dizzy looking out because your eyes had nowhere to focus and rest.
I had such a good time. It was very relaxing and I feel lucky to have met these people who take me on adventures and show me new things since we still feel new here.
