A few Birthday Photos

Sooo...its been mentioned already, but again today is my 22nd birthday! We really cant do much because for one we're on a strict budget and two, we have to leave super early to my grandma's in the morning! I don't mind though. I love chill birthdays!

The weather is so amazing today! Its not too hot, and for here thats sayin somethin. It may be in the 80s or so and the humidity feels pretty low. So, we decided to get some iced coffee (my fav) and go out to the dock to just hang out. We may do somethin else tonight...we'll see! Hope you're week is off to a great start!

I'm just hangin out now, editing pics while listening to Kings of Leon. Two of my most favorite things to do! :D:D If you must know, I'm pretty laid back and a bit of an introvert. So, its things like this that make me happy. I wish a lot of my friends from South Dakota could be here today, but thats just not possible. I've heard from all of them though and it means a lot. XOXO

I was gonna put Kings of Leon - Mi Amigo up instead of Birthday, but obviously Birthday fits better, but check out Mi Amigo. OBSESSED! I die a little inside when I hear Calebs voice. *sigh*

Happy Birthday to Me!

Well, its my birthday today. The big deuce deuce. Not sure what we are doing just yet, but I'm sure it'll be great. Really though, I don't care so much because I know tomorrow I get to see my nephew, my mom, and my brother because they are moving down finally and will get here tomorrow evening hopefully! I'm beyond excited! We are driving 3 hrs tomorrow morning to my grandma's to see them and will be stayin for a week or so there. Maybe I'll have some photos up from the visit. ♥

Just hangin out listening to good ol' Kings of Leon, sippin on my starbucks and catchin up on blogs. Wish I was out taking photos, but man is it HOT outside. I just got back from my trip to the store for shampoo, makeup, etc and I could've died. Wishin' for fall <3

Free-lensing?

I tried free-lensing today. Well, that didn't really work. So I decided to take one of the photos that I free lensed(?) with and then one that was completely focused and lay them on top of each other to get the effect that free lensing is used for. I'm gonna keep trying it out though. I think the only reason why I couldn't get the building to be completely focused is that I was too close to it. I couldn't get any further away though because our house is in the way, haha.

Anyway, this is what I came up with!

All Charged Up

Its been a very stormy/cloudy day out, so we've been stuck inside. But that didn't stop me from testing my new battery out. I also took this time to get to know my camera a little better and try shooting in RAW. I honestly can't tell the difference too much, but maybe it takes some time. Here are some random shots.
